WASHINGTON TRANSIT SLOWROLLS MOBILE SERVICE

Faced with significant budget issues, the Washington Metropolitan Transit Authority has put development of mobile transit service on the back burner. Their current mobile site, www.wmata.com/mobile, is written in XML which is not supported by iPhone. A Beta site not written in XML with limited capabilities exists at content.wmata.com/mobiilemp. -Stuart Whitaker
